ACTIVITIES OF CLASS MATES 06-07

These above members discussed and agreed for some of the acivities that can be achieved through this fellowship group.

Such as:

Category I: Group Building

1. A group picnic every year

2. A gathering to discuss the functioning of this group

3. A one day visit to our SDM college

4. To help any member of group when it is needed

Category II: Social Cause

1. Scholorships (For Jounalism Students)

a. Highest scorer in the final year

b. College fees for a poor student.

Category III: Education

1. Sponser a seminar that takes place in SDM Journalism Dept.

2. Arrange for a seminar:

a. Any media related seminars with well qualified person

b. The group himself can present a seminar

Note: For now, these activities are only focused on our Group and Journalism department of our college.

Website: A suggestion came from the initial group members to have a website so that we can publish our activities and keep updated. There is also a option to create a blog and a facebook profile.

Financial Status:

This is a fellowship group and certainly not a fund raising co-operative society. But certainly for the above activities we need some amount of finance. There are some suggestions given bellow and these are from the initial members:

1. To have one bank account inorder to manage finance

2. To make a fixed amount of membership by each member.
